Josh Herring is the founder of HPS Loss Consulting and a seasoned insurance adjuster with over a decade of experience in property damage, insurance appraisal, and loss consulting. Since 2017, he has been working as an independent insurance adjuster, managing residential and commercial property claims related to fire, water, wind, and hail losses.
Before his role in insurance adjusting, Josh gained extensive knowledge in construction, spending 11 years in fire and water damage restoration. This practical background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of construction, mitigation, and repair processes, enhancing the accuracy and defensibility of his property damage consulting services.
Josh holds an Associate Degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technology, which enables him to conduct detailed assessments of HVAC and mechanical systems frequently involved in property damage claims. He is also a P.L.A.N. Certified Appraiser and Umpire, along with being an IICRC Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician, ensuring adherence to industry standards in insurance and restoration.
